jmol

As much as I like jmol, I have to admit that there is a problem with it if you use it in blogspot. It seems that it makes firefox shut itself down. The same thing happened at chemblog. So I guess it is not all about blogspot. Maybe the problem only occurs when I have two jmol applets open and is because I am initialsing twice. Anyway, I am sorry if I made your browser freeze.

he problem arises with more than 1 applet is used for the same page. My personal belief is that java applets should be avoided at all costs.

to me java seems like a much "cleaner" technology than for example flash but I don't really know because I haven't done anything with it except for those jmol applets

my thought is that the problem is because of initialising the applet twice. Maybe putting the "initialise" command into the header would help. but I won't do that. If I want to use another jmol applet then I will just use a link to a separate page.
